I’m just about to go up to Liverpool to start rehearsals for a new play with songs, ‘To Have to Shoot Irishmen’ by Lizzie Nunnery. Lizzie first brought the play to me over 3 years ago so we are VERY excited to be producing it now. We open at Omnibus Theatre in London in October, before heading to the Liverpool Everyman and then on a short tour. All the details here…

Happy days! I’ve been selected for the 2nd Air B2B residency offered by People’s Palace Projects and the British Council and I’ll be spending November in Rio de Janeiro working with this amazing organisation and carrying out research with residents of Vila Autodromo, a community who have faced eviction from their homes due to the construction of the Olympic Park.

I went to talk to Dr Joanna Bucknall at the University of Portsmouth about Immersive Theatre for her regular podcast TAIT (Talking about Immersive Theatre). She’s interviewed some really exciting practitioners so I’m very pleased and honoured to be in their company on this project!
